Status: these terms cover the www.finto.fun website, the waitlist, and the live Finto prediction game at app.finto.fun. The wording is current to the date above. Final wording for the World Cup 2026 launch is being reviewed by counsel; we will update this page if that review changes anything material. By using the site, the waitlist, or the app you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
Finto is operated by BRBR GROUP, 2025 BRBR GROUP · Sheridan, Wyoming, USA. Send legal notices and general questions to hello@finto.fun. Send privacy and data-rights requests to privacy@finto.fun.
2. What Finto is
Finto is a free, social prediction game built for FIFA World Cup 2026 and similar football tournaments. You predict match scores, play against your friends in private groups or against everyone on the global leaderboard, and earn points based on how accurate your predictions are.
Finto is not a sportsbook, betting platform, fantasy-money game, casino, exchange, or any other form of gambling. There are no entry fees, no buy-ins, no deposits, no prize pools, no payouts, no odds, no spreads, no real-money rewards, and no wagering of any kind. If a feature involving payments, deposits, prize pools, or anything resembling betting is ever considered for Finto, it would require a separate launch and a fresh legal review; it is not part of the current product, and nothing on the live service today should be read as offering it.
3. Independence
Finto is independent and is not affiliated with FIFA, the FIFA World Cup, any national football association, club, league, broadcaster, or governing body. References to the World Cup, national teams, or any third-party trademark are nominal. Those trademarks belong to their respective owners.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Finto. We enforce this at signup by asking for your birth year and rejecting accounts that would be under 13. Some jurisdictions require a higher minimum age for online services that process personal data; if you live somewhere with a higher local minimum (for example certain EU member states under GDPR Art. 8), you must meet that local minimum to use Finto. Per-jurisdiction adjustments and any parental-consent mechanism are still under legal review and will be reflected on this page before any change goes live.
Finto is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under the relevant minimum age has signed up, email privacy@finto.fun and we will delete the account promptly.
5. Your account
- One account per person. Don’t create alts to boost group standings or evade enforcement.
- Your username is visible to other players — pick one you’re comfortable with. Display names are also visible inside your groups.
- Keep credentials safe. Don’t share your password or your account. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
- Sign-in options. Finto supports email/password, Google Sign-In, and (on iOS) Sign in with Apple. You can pick the one that suits you.
- You can request account deletion at any time from Settings → Danger zone inside the app, or by emailing privacy@finto.fun. See Data deletion for what happens and how long it takes.
6. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not attempt to:
- Use Finto for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, defraud, or impersonate any other person.
- Submit usernames, display names, group names, group descriptions, match-day comments, or any other content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexual, sexual content involving minors, harassing, or designed to harm or deceive other users.
- Use Finto to spam other users via invites or messages.
- Probe, scan, attack, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the service, its hosting providers, or its infrastructure.
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to submit predictions, accept invites, or interact with leaderboards.
- Coordinate predictions with other accounts to manipulate group standings or the global leaderboard. Friends agreeing on a prediction is fine; coordinated rings are not.
- Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to extract data not intended for you (including data belonging to other users or other groups).
- Misrepresent your affiliation with Finto, FIFA, or any third party.
We may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, void points, and revoke invite links if we believe a user has broken these rules. Serious abuse may be reported to the relevant authorities. See the Rules & Fair Play page for the in-game mechanics and how the team handles game-specific enforcement.
7. Groups, invites, and your content
You can create or join groups (private by default; admins can opt a group in to the public groups leaderboard). When you contribute content to Finto — including usernames, display names, group names, group descriptions, predictions, and match-day comments — you grant Finto a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you and for the other members of your groups. You can remove your content (by deleting it in-app or by requesting account deletion); that licence ends when the content is removed, subject to short technical-backup windows.
Public groups expose only the limited information described in the Rules & Fair Play page (group name, admin username, active participant count, average points, public rank). Predictions, member lists, and match-day comments are visible only to members of that group, even when the group is listed publicly.
8. Game rules
The mechanics of the prediction game — lock deadlines, scoring, tie-breakers, voided matches, the 90-minute regular-time scoring rule, fair play, and how the team handles disputes — are governed by the Rules & Fair Play page, which is part of these terms by reference. If a conflict ever arises between these terms and the rules page on a question of game mechanics, the rules page wins.
9. Emails we send
Finto sends two kinds of email: transactional
(invite delivery, invite acceptance, password change notifications,
deletion confirmations) and non-transactional
(countdown, behavioural, and re-engagement nudges, weekly group
recaps, milestones). Every non-transactional email includes a
one-click unsubscribe link and a
List-Unsubscribe header. You can also manage email
preferences inside the app at Settings → Emails.
Transactional emails continue to flow because they relate to
actions you or your group admin took.
10. Intellectual property
The Finto name, logo, copy, design, and code are owned by the entity named in §1 and its licensors. You may share links to Finto and quote short excerpts (with attribution) for legitimate non-commercial purposes. You may not copy the service wholesale, reuse Finto branding in your own product, or claim association with Finto.
Third-party trademarks (FIFA, FIFA World Cup, national flags, club crests, and the like) belong to their respective owners and are used only nominally.
11. Service availability
Finto is provided as-is and on an as-available basis. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service running, especially around live matches, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or any particular performance characteristic. Outages happen. The lock deadline (15 minutes before kick-off, enforced server-side) is the one technical guarantee that has competition consequences; everything else is best-effort.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Finto is an entertainment product. Match data is provided by third parties; we don’t guarantee that every fixture, score, or scoring outcome is error-free, and we may correct results retroactively (and adjust points accordingly) if the official record is corrected.
13. Limitation of liability
This section is intentionally placeholder pending legal review. To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will BRBR GROUP, its founders, employees, or service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your use of (or inability to use) Finto. Total liability under or in connection with these terms, for all causes of action and across all theories of liability, will be limited to a placeholder cap to be set by counsel. Final caps and carve-outs (consumer-protection rights, gross negligence, and so on) will be set by counsel before the World Cup 2026 launch.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Finto at any time. You can request deletion of your account from inside the app — see Data deletion. We can suspend or terminate access to Finto, in whole or in part, if we believe these terms have been broken, if continued service creates a risk to other users or to the service, or if we have to pause or shut down the service entirely. Where lawful and practical, we will give notice; where it isn’t — for example a security incident — we may act first and explain after.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent change. Material changes affecting your rights will be flagged on this page for at least 30 days before they take effect, and where possible communicated by email. A versioned identifier of the accepted terms is stored against your account for our internal record-keeping.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Wyoming, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Counsel review of the EU/UK consumer-rights position is in progress; this clause may be revised before public launch.
