Where Settings live
On the web app, open Settings from the account menu in the top-right of any page. On iOS, tap the Profile tab, then Settings.
Email preferences
Finto sends two kinds of email:
- Transactional — invites, password-change notices, account-deletion confirmations. Always sent because they're things you or your group admin did.
- Non-transactional — countdown nudges, weekly recaps, re-engagement. You can switch the whole track off or pause individual tracks in Settings → Emails. Every non-transactional email also carries a one-click unsubscribe link.
Deleting your account
From Settings → Danger zone, tap Request account deletion. Three things happen:
- Scheduled, not instant. We mark your account for deletion now and remove your data within 30 days.
- Your data goes. Account, group memberships, predictions, pending invites you sent — all deleted.
- Cancellable until the window closes. Email privacy@finto.fun from your account address to cancel before the 30-day window ends.
Step-by-step instructions and what gets retained for legal reasons: /data-deletion.
What we keep, what we don't
The short version: after the 30-day window we keep a minimum email- suppression record (so we keep honouring your opt-out and don't re-mail you after deletion) plus non-personal audit fields on groups you were in. Everything else tied to your identity is removed. The full breakdown is in the Privacy Policy.
